Kyncky Cordner Comments On Roamin Season 3 (Regional)

As an Entertainer, Host, Presenter. I take every opportunity to check out new entertainment shows. I am really impressed with your show Roamin...I love the concept, and content. Roaming is a well put together program that can stand Internationally, but has maintained our "Caribbean flavor".

Your Hosts/Presenters are professional, yet they keep it real!

Production, Camera crew, I love the footage, camera angles and little graphics! Oh, I'm also pleased that I can now shout out friends across the region via Roamin text!!! What a great way to link the Island! What a show!

Thank you for making me look forward to Saturday local TV again, and for keeping me updated with what's happening in entertainment regionally. I've got my entire crew Roamin!

I have only one critique, why haven't you hired Ms. Trini yet???

Keep Roamin!

Video Magazine Show "Roamin" Goes Regional

Barbados’ best video magazine show ‘Roamin’’ is once again taking the region by storm. Roamin’ is no longer on WSEE but country by country, this exciting show is capturing the region. Roamin’ isn’t only on CBC in Barbados but can now be found in St. Vincent on SVGTV on Thursdays at 9:10 with replays on Saturday at 2pm, in St. Kitts from July 4 at 8pm on ZIZ Broadcasting Trinidad on Saturday at 6pm on TV 6… and more Caribbean countries to come by year end.

Roamin’ continues to showcase the things that made it popular like TV Chat, that enables viewers to text comments and shout outs directly to the TV during Roamin’. So tell your friends and family in the islands and of course as you travel for the summer and catch up on your Caribbean carnivals, you can still tune in to the local stations to catch your favorite show. Watch the latest and greatest Caribbean music videos from all across the region and yes Roamin’ is still going to show you some sweet parts of the Caribbean that you never dreamed about in the, ‘In The Caribbean Section’. What about the Caribbean Top 5 video count down? Still there as it is one of the most popular segments of Roamin’.

There are some additions to the team. One great addition is our new producer, Shamkoe Pile who brings a new energy and creative feel to Roamin. We have also added some hosts to the ones that you have come to know and love, Daana is still there and so is Fuzz but we have another duo to add to the ranks. First welcome the well-known singer/model and now host Keann Walters. You would know her from her singing and some of the cameos that she did in some popular music videos. Our second addition, Carlos Barrow, is a bit of a comedian and a talented host, bringing his own style to the business of being a VJ. If you were watching the regional season you would remember these two hosts as the winners of the “Who wants to be a VJ?” competition that was held last year.

Viewers in the islands will enjoy hearing some of their own accents as the Roamin’ correspondents continue to cover the hottest parties across the region In addition to Carlos, we are also introducing our Trini correspondent Gabby, who took us through Trini carnival and all of the “hot spots” Trinidad had to offer and last but not least Jessica St. Rose our St. Lucia correspondent.

What would Roamin’ be without the wonderful party locations all across the Caribbean? In this season we have lots of parties to take you to, from Barbados’ Reggae Festival featuring ‘Reggae on the Hill’ and ‘Reggae on the Beach’ to KING Island Queen competition. In Trinidad we take you from Trini carnival to UWI carnival and take in a bit of shopping on the way, and for the first time we explore Jamaica taking you to Bembe one of the largest parties in Jamaica. We also explore Emancipation weekend in Jamaica, we check out Negril and ATI for three days of non-stop partying.

“For fear that the cat is let out of the bag, I will just say add Crop Over to these events, season the pot with Cohoblopot and with a few more spices thrown in this season promises to be an incredible season of Roamin’,” Director of Television and Video media, Kelly Gittens noted.

So what about the stars you say? Has Roamin’ got any stars on it? To name a few there is Edwin, Kihomal, Stabby, Alison Hinds, Farmer Nappy, Lil John, Pitbull, TOK, Elephant man, Bugle, Buggy, Tony Matterhorn, Mr. Lex, Serani, Konshens, Denise Belfon, Destra, Queen Ifrica, Beenie man, Morgan Heritage, Turbulence, Skinny Fabulous, Partice Roberts and a whole host of other stars but we don’t want to let the cat out of the bag. There are also a lot of upcoming and new artistes that will be showcased on Roamin’ this season. This is not a season to miss! Roamin’ has a brand new day and time for CBC which is Tuesday at 9:30pm with replays on Thursdays at 10:30pm and at other various times on local channels in the island. Make it a date on your calendar and let us take you to some of the best spots the Caribbean has to offer.

We have a new look to Roamin’ as well, but one of the things that gives the most pride and joy is our new campaign. Roamin’ reaches a lot of the ‘risk groups’ out there for a lot of social ills, so in taking our social responsibility seriously, Roamin’ has teamed up with the Child Care Board to launch a campaign against child abuse. Alt Entertainment and the Child Care Board hopes that with this campaign, we can sensitize the public to what child abuse is in all of its forms, we want to help people spot a child that is being or has been abused, and send out a message to the kids that it is not their fault and there is help out there for them, but the right persons can only help if they know.

This season promises to be one not to miss with the perfect blend of what you have come to love about Roamin’ mixed in with some very new and exciting elements, remember CBC in Barbados on Tuesdays at 9:30pm, SVGTV in St. Vincent on Thursdays at 9:10 pm , in St. Kitts from July 4 at 8pm on ZIZ Broadcasting Trinidad on Saturday at 6pm on TV 6 from July 4 and more Caribbean countries to come by year end. See you then
