Jessica St. Rose – Host

I am the vibrant St. Lucian host, Jessica St. Rose, a.k.a “the Jumba Lady.” I got that name from one of my first songs that took me to the Soca Monarch Finals, Jumba (which is also a dance). That’s right; I am also a soca artist!

I grew up in the northern country side of St. Lucia in a community called Boguis Babonneau with my grandparents. I love singing, performing, cooking, dancing, partying and traveling. My favorite food of all times is corn pie!

Working with Roamin’ is quite interesting. I like many things and dislike few. Here they are:

* I like meeting different people and networking
* I love working at the parties and especially carnival
* The Roamin’ crew is fun
* I get tired easily so I don’t like having to do different takes which can get very frustrating for everyone

Nonetheless, I love Roamin’ and one day hope to roam to Trinidad for carnival! Oh yes, and one of my favourite quotes is “how is me ah!”
